Greater Louisville Inc. Annual Meeting

Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) held its 2013 Annual Meeting, presented by Yum! Brands, on March 19 inside the Grand Ballroom of the Galt House Hotel.

The premier networking event included an awards program, along with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception. Jamie Dimon, chairman of the board and CEO of JP Morgan Chase served as keynote speaker. Dimon serves on the board of directors of the New York Federal Reserve and has been named as one of Time Magazine’s World’s Most Influential People in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011.

GLI also presented its prestigious Silver Fleur-de-Lis Award to Harold Workman, recently retired president and CEO of the Kentucky State Fair Board, and the University of Louisville, honored for its recent acceptance into the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). UofL President James Ramsey and Tom Jurich, UofL’s director of athletics and vice president, accepted the Silver Fleur-de-Lis on behalf of the university. The Silver Fleur-de-Lis Award recognizes outstanding achievement in the Greater Louisville community and is given to individuals and organizations that demonstrate leadership and action in order to make the region a better place.
