Diwali Celebration at Bomhard Theater
India Community Foundation organized Diwali celebrations Dec. 2 at the Bomhard Theater inside the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.
The event showcased Indian culture and cuisine as well as modern, Bollywood and classical dance performances.
Diwali is one of the biggest Hindu festivals celebrated in India and across the world. Diwali’s significance and spiritual meaning is generally “the awareness of the inner light” and honors the triumph of good over evil.
