Dancing By The River
River Fields hosted the annual “Dancing by the River” fundraiser Sept. 7 to celebrate the 2,200 acres of land it has worked steadfastly to preserve.
Event attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, a delicious buffet dinner catered by Mark Stevens, Stevens & Stevens, Deserts by Helen and a silent auction with exclusive prize packages. The Robert Nickerson Band provided music throughout the evening while guests dined and danced.
Funds raised at “Dancing by the River” will support River Fields’ work to protect, preserve and enhance the natural, historical and cultural resources near the Ohio River between Westport and West Point, Ky., on both sides of the river.
