Bullitt County Day Of Remembrance
To honor the victims of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2011, Bullitt County held a day of remembrance Sept. 9 in front of the 9-11 Memorial, next to the First Baptist Church parking lot.
A procession began on Highway 44 at Delaina Drive and ended on North Bardstown Road at the First Baptist Church. Those in attendance met heroes of 9/11, viewed a piece of the World Trade Center and the Army Static Equipment Display, visited the FOP Food Booth and explored the Mt. Washington Inflatable Bounce House and Safety House.
