Bourbon And Broadway With Four Roses At Corbett’s

Corbett’s: An American Place prepared a four-course meal with hors d’oeuvres inspired by Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” and infused with Four Roses bourbon for Chef Dean Corbett and his culinary team’s Bourbon and Broadway dinner, held Sept. 27.

Guests enjoyed the fine dining atmosphere of Corbett’s while sampling Four Roses bourbons and mingling with Four Roses Brand Ambassador Al Young. Two lucky attendees also won tickets to see “Beauty and the Beast” at the Kentucky Center in October.

The event menu included a first course featuring butternut squash soup with Four Roses Yellow Label crème fraîche and house cured pancetta and fried sage. The second course offered wild striped bass with small batch Bourbon brown butter amandine, as well as parsnip and leek mascarpone terrine with pear-ginger marmalade. The third course delivered delicious prime tenderloin with single barrel Bourbon and brown sugar smoked barley, roasted candy striped beets, rainbow Swiss chard, fried sweet potato and black garlic demi-glace. Finally, the evening was topped off with a fourth course of apple pain perdu with cherry Bourbon ice cream and sea salt butterscotch and chocolate tuile.
