Bobby Ellis Vigil to End Hunger

The annual Bobby Ellis Memorial Vigil to End Hunger was held Nov. 26 at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. The annual march and vigil is held to remember Bobby Ellis, who died more than 40 years ago at 9-years-old from malnutrition.

Every year on Thanksgiving Eve, to honor this child’s death and legacy, Dare to Care and Interfaith Paths to Peace organize a silent march and vigil to the site where he died.
