The Wednesday Lunch Club Annual Cruise
The Wednesday Lunch Club held its annual cruise on the Ohio River. The boat, The Princess, which normally maintains dock at Captain’s Quarters, took passengers on a cruise downriver to the downtown area.

- The new condominiums that are being constructed at the Municipal Boat Harbor.
- A church with twin steeples in Butchertown could be seen from the River.
- The KFC Yum! Center and the downtown skyline as seen from the Ohio River.
- A police boat picked up a man who had happened to jump off one of the downtown bridges during the cruise. The man was alive and apparently not injured.
