Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners Association held its annual awards dinner at the Kentucky Derby Museum on Nov. 19.

- Mary Alice Blanton received the president’s gavel as the 2012 president of the Thoroughbred Owners, from Austin Berg, out-going president.
- Isla Wieting, who is with the Semonin Company, Seth Hancock and Chuck Wieting.
- Kenneth Ramsey, owner of Almahurst Farm in Nicholasville, Ky., Tammy Board, director of technology effectiveness at Brown Forman, and Mark Board, consultant.
- Mary Ann Cooper, who was the first curator of the Kentucky Derby Museum, Chris Murphy and Marci Maher.
- Vickie Foley, who is a trainer, and Jean Zehnder, horse farm owner with her husband, Jack Zehnder.

Jones, Jr. Horseman of the Year Award; and Austin Berg, president of the Thoroughbred Owners, who presented the award.
- Austin Berg, William Ramsey, eighth-grader at the Lexington School, Ken Ramsey, winner of two Thoroughbred awards and Vince O’Neill.
- Austin Berg, Jack Davis, Cliff Rompf and Jake Arnold were presented Claimer of the Year Award by Vince O’Neill.
- Max and Mary Jane Mascarich, and Ann and Nick Burrice, chairman of Gateway Press.
- Julien “Buckwheat” Wheat, known as “Mayor of the Backside,” celebrated his birthday with the thoroughbred owners.
- Mary Louis and Mardoo Keenan.
- Ray Condren, who is with Brown Forman; Connie and Tom Baxter; and Mike and Lisa Palmisano. Mike is a partner with Kentucky Orthopedic Rehabilitation Team.
- Steve Clements, owner of the Kentucky Derby Museum Café; Ed Glasscock, who is with the Frost Brown Todd law firm; Kevin Flanery, president of Churchill Downs race track; and Lori Flanery, secretary of the finance cabinet for Kentucky.
- Cliff and Sherry Rompf. Cliff is retired from Brown Forman.
- Seth and Debbie Hancock and Austin Berg, president of Thoroughbred Owners, Inc. Seth is partner and manager of Claiborne Farm in Paris, Ky. Debbie is a native of Frankfort and a graduate of the University of Kentucky.
- Howard and Marlene Meyer, executive secretary of Thoroughbred Owners; and Jane and Vince O’Neill.
