- Jeffrey Immelt, GLI keynote speaker and Chairman & CEO of General Electric. Immelt announced earlier in the day that a new, more efficient water heater will be assembled at Appliance Park.
- Tracee Troutt presented Jeffrey Immelt with a lamp resembling a huge lightbulb.
- Dianne and Edward Lee and attorney Pat Ballard. Lee, owner of 610 Magnolia restaurant, was the recipient of the Thomas A. Edison Award which celebrates achievements of Louisvillians whose success brings credit to themselves and to the region.
