Unity for Life
Four of America’s most prominent religious leaders will be coming together on April 18 in support of one purpose – Unity for Life, the annual dinner of Lifehouse Louisville. The event, which raises funds to support Louisville’s only private maternity home for single women in crisis, will be held at Galt House Grand Ballroom, 140 N. Fourth St. Speaking at the event in support of pro-life will be Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr., president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, leader of the Catholic Archdiocese of Louisville; Dr. Alveda C. King, director of African-American Outreach for Priests for Life and Gospel Ministries, and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King; and Bob Russell, retired senior minister of Southeast Christian Church. Lifehouse Louisville is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian maternity home offering pregnant women an alternative to abortion. Tickets to the event are $100 per person or $1,000 for a table of 10. Sponsorships are also available. For information or to purchase tickets visit www.lifehouselouisville.org or call 502.417.1385.
