Southern Indiana Quilters’ Day Out


In celebration of National Quilters’ Day Out, the Sew ‘n’ Tell Quilt Guild will be sponsoring its sixth Annual Southern Indiana Quilters’ Day Out on March 23, at the Tri-County Shrine Center, 701 Potters Lane, Clarksville, Ind. This day-long occasion will start at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Admission can be gained with a $5 donation at the door. This extravaganza is open to all quilt and craft enthusiasts, and will include quilting demonstrations, quilt and craft vendors, concessions and special quilt and antique sewing machine displays. A program will be presented at 11:30 a.m. by Donna Schultz on Underground Railroad Blocks. Scissor sharpening will be available for a fee there will be electricity for those who wish to bring their sewing machines. Door prizes will be given every half hour, and grand prize drawings will be held throughout the day (entrants must be present to win).
