The Louisville Philharmonia is a volunteer orchestra which is operated and managed by the musicians and conductor, Daniel Spurlock. The orchestra is made up of local part-time and full-time musicians who have come together to perform great music and share their passion for and love of music with the community. Because of such high demand last year the public is invited to join the Louisville Philharmonia and 150+ voices from Beargrass Christian Church, Harvey Browne Presbyterian Church, St. Matthew’s Methodist Church and St. Matthew’s Baptist Church and to choose from two free musical concerts of classic holiday favorites.
Limited general admission seating will be available so be sure to arrive early. Because of such high demand last year please note that a matinee has been added on Saturday. The Louisville Philharmonia is not affiliated with St. Mathews Baptist Church or Harvey Browne Presbyterian Church where our regular season concerts take place. Because of its greater capacity, St. Matthews Baptist Church has graciously offered LP the use of its facility for the rehearsals and holiday concerts in December. For those who “Facebook”, please like us and you will have access to regular updates about the Louisville Philharmonia.
