FACTS:

Lewis Black is one of the most prolific and popular performers working today. He executes a brilliant and popular trifecta as a stand-up comedian, actor and author with a pessimistic and angry twist.

· Getting his start in stand-up in Chapel Hill while attending the University of North Carolina, Black eventually moved into theater and settled in New York City where he oversaw the development of more than 1,000 plays, including works by West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin and True Blood creator Alan Ball.

· In 1996, Black created a weekly segment for a show his friend Lizz Winstead was producing called The Daily Show. The segment, a three minute rant about whatever was bothering him at the moment, evolved into Back in Black, and became one of the most popular and longest running segments on the show, as well as spearheading a long and successful relationship with Comedy Central.

· Show may contain mature language and adult subject matter.
