Kentucky Revealed: Treasures from The Speed Art Museum


The Speed Art Museum is honored to present Kentucky Revealed: Treasures from The Speed Art Museum, at the 2013 Bluegrass Trust Antiques and Gardens Show, March 8 through 10, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, at the Alltech Arena at The Kentucky Horse Park, 4086 Iron Works Pkwy., Lexington, Ky. Drawing on the state’s largest and most comprehensive collection of Kentucky art and antiques, Kentucky Revealed will feature work by the state’s most significant early artists such as John James Audubon and Matthew Harris Jouett. Kentucky Revealed is one of the Speed’s many programs designed to reach Kentuckians throughout the Commonwealth, even as the museum building is closed until 2015 for a major expansion.
