Interfaith Seder

For thousands of years Jews all over the world have gathered to celebrate one of the most important Jewish holidays – Passover. The highlight of Passover is a celebratory meal called a Seder. This year, you are invited to a special Interfaith Seder with a theme of Compassion and a celebration of the work of Highland Community Ministries and AIDS Interfaith Ministries, April 2 at 7 p.m., at Highland Baptist Church, 1101 Cherokee Road. Proceeds from the Seder will benefit Highland Community Ministries and AIDS Interfaith Ministries. The Seder meal includes traditional matzoh-ball soup, a green salad, a poultry or vegetarian entrée and dessert. Four ceremonial glasses of wine/grape juice and other ceremonial foods are included. There is a requested minimum donation of $25 per person, $40 per couple or $150 for a table of eight. RSVP by emailing seder@hcm.com.
