Frankfort Avenue will be “Wrapped in Red” to Honor the Red Cross for February 24th FAT Friday Trolley Hop

Historic Frankfort Avenue will host a special F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop on Friday, February 24th from 6 to 10 pm. The event will kick off Red Cross Awareness Month (March), and bring awareness to the Louisville Red Cross’s upcoming fundraiser – Wrapped in Red Gala – which will be held on Saturday, March 10th.

Members of the “Red Army” will have a booth at Eyedia, 1631 Mellwood Avenue, to distribute information and sell tickets to the Gala, and they will also travel to others stops along the Avenue to spread the word throughout the evening. Many businesses and retailers will adorn their storefront windows with red merchandise, place red ribbons on their doors, and ask their employees to wear red that evening. More information about the Wrapped in Red Gala and Red Cross Awareness Month can be found at www.louisville-redcross.org.
