Festival of the Dogwood
Audubon Park, one of Louisville’s oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods, will be celebrating the Festival of the Dogwood, April 19 to 21, from 3 to 11 p.m. After dark, residents will spotlight blooming dogwood trees so that members of the public may drive through the park and enjoy the sensation of viewing the beauty of several different varieties of dogwood. On Sunday there will be a free community concert featuring the River City Concert Band, at 3 p.m. at the Audubon Baptist church, 1046 Hess Lane.
