St. Mary’s Fundraiser

St. Mary’s Center just finished a 2 million dollar capital campaign and are $100,000 short from being able to purchase needed supplies and moving in before winter.

On Oct. 13   from 10 a.m to 5 p.m there will be a St. Mary’s students’ Art and Pottery Show on front lawn in front of Head House for the Silent Auction. Business owners will be dressed in costumes.  Refreshments served. Receive coupons and register to win prizes.  From noon to 12:15 p.m.  Mayors Byron Chapman and the Honorable Greg Fisher will address the crowd on the front porch. Mayor Fisher will present a Proclamation to Mayor and Mrs. Chapman and Sr. Regina and Mary Jo Payne, St. Mary’s Center along with other City officials and VIP’s recognized. From 11:30-2:30 p.m., meet and greet The Wilderness Rangers Experience their lifestyles and weaponry. From 3 to 3:15 p.m. impersonator Abraham Lincoln will recite the Gettysburg Address. From 3:15 to 5 p.m.   Impersonators Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln and other characters, Blacksmith, Soldier and Painted Settler will  meet and greet visitors. Family photo opportunities. Donations to St. Mary’s appreciated.
