Editor’s note: Columnist Talia is a 12-year-old on a mission to raise awareness for organ donation.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving like I did! I am so thankful that I got to spend time with my family and friends. I got to tell my family in St. Louis about my project and they have been following my column for weeks now. It was nice to share my experiences in person with them.

Looking back on my project so far, I have so many things and people to be thankful for! Here is a quick recap to show my appreciation for all of the people who have helped make this project what it has become.

Additional Thanks

  • All my friends and teachers at Collegiate for letting me put TL4L posters up and helping me along the way.
  • My mom and all of my family from St. Louis, Louisville, and across the united states.
  • The Voice-Tribune staff and my Editor, Angie Fenton.

Lastly, I am so thankful for all of the people who read my column each week, checked and liked my TL4L Facebook page, have followed me through my journey, and of course, organ donors!!

Next week you will read about me interviewing more awesome people making differences in our community and world.

Can’t wait to share it with you!
