Michael Tierney.

There are only four weeks left until all the nominees are revealed for The Voice-Tribune’s Best Dressed of Louisville Presented by Churchill Downs. Then it will be time for you to get involved and cast your vote for the woman, man and couple you would most like to take to the runway as this year’s winners.

The Voice-Tribune continues its commitment to give back to the community and support local charities by hosting this annual event. Nominee selections are not based on fashion alone. The criteria also require the participants to have a desire to raise awareness and funds to support the selected charity.

This year’s beneficiary is Dress for Success Louisville. It is best known for providing professional attire for women with the desire to reenter the workplace and lead a life of independence.

I took a moment to catch up with one of last year’s winners, Michael Tierney, who lights up a room not only with his sense of style but as well as his passion, appetite and zest for life.
