Central Bank’s Ultimate Basketball Experience
I’ve been a diehard fan of Cardinal basketball since the day I was born, so you can imagine my thrill when given the Ultimate Basketball Experience with Rick Pitino.
The annual event hosted by Central Bank took place inside the KFC Yum! Center, where guests received an inside look at UofL practice as the Cards prepared for their game against South Florida on senior night, Feb. 29.
The team split up in half to play some five-on-five as the Cards worked their offense against the style of defense they expected to see USF play against them on Wednesday.
Following the practice, guests mingled inside the Evan Williams Bourbon Bar, sipping cocktails and enjoying hors d’oeurves, while Coach Pitino spoke candidly with the crowd and answered questions.

Ashley is a huge UofL fan and loves the Yankees and the Boston Celtics (she is fully aware of the irony). She hopes to one day outshine Erin Andrews on ESPN and enjoys running, Bardstown Road/Fourth Street, Breaking Bad and reality TV (she’s not ashamed to admit that).
