Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest has announced their annual Valentine’s Day Dinner. Couples or groups of friends can choose Friday, Feb. 8 or Saturday, Feb. 9 to celebrate the holiday with dinner and dancing at Bernheim’s Visitor Center.
The candlelit dinner, priced at $150 per couple ($120 per couple for Bernheim members) includes appetizers, main course, dessert, music and dancing throughout the evening. A cash bar will be available.
Jarfi’s Bistro is catering the event; the menu is available online at www.bernheim.org.
Guests can bid on an overnight stay at the Bernheim Lodge; money raised from the auction will help support the non-profit’s mission of connecting people with nature. There will be a winning bid each evening.
Early reservation is recommended; payment by credit card or check is due at the time of reservation. Reservations end at close of business on Monday, Feb. 4. Space is limited and Saturday evening will sell out quickly. Call 502.955.8512 for more information or to make your reservation.

Bernheim’s gate is open every day from 7 a.m. until approximately sunset, except Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Admission to the park is always free for members and free for all every weekday. Weekends and holidays have a $5 environmental impact fee per vehicle for the public. Schools and tour groups are welcome; please call in advance for fees and scheduling. The Visitor Center and Gift Shop are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, including weekends. Isaac’s Café, located in the Visitor Center, is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with refreshments.
