Central High School defeated Ballard 19-14 on Sept. 7 in a football showdown held at Ballard’s home field.
St. X Tigers vs. Fern Creek Tigers
High school football fans kicked off the season at St. Xavier High School Aug. 17. The Fern Creek and St. X Tigers faced off against one another in a spirited season opener, ending with a St. Xavier victory, 52-7.
