Fillies Entertain Provisional Members
The Fillies entertained their new 2011 provisional members at a cocktail party at the home of Paula Harshaw. The provisional term is one year, after which they shall be entitled to all of the privileges of the membership.
Candle Glow Gala plans underway
The Candle Glow Gala benefiting Hosparus of Louisville is being held on Oct. 22 this year. Marland Cole, chief public affairs officer of Hosparus, said it was such a success last year at the Louisville Marriott Downtown that it is being held there again this year.

Welcoming a French friend
Francis Bellouguet of Toulouse was in town to visit Jack Roby. They met years ago at the Toulouse International Organ Festival and have been friends since then. Francis is a native of Rolez, France.
Relief from summer doldrums
Cathy and John Yarmuth, Kathy Hensley and Phillip Koenig gave an engagement party last week at The Henry Clay in honor of Anna Bass and Christy Willingham. Christy is from California, and the wedding will be held there at Shutters on the beach in Santa Monica.
